A day on the lowest point of the earth

I suggest you visit a desert region full of surprises. The archaeological site of Qumran, the hot sources of Ein Flashera, the falls of Ein Gedi or the majestic site of Massada, you will spend an incredible and striking day.

Qumran

Qumran is best known as the place where the dead sea rolls were discovered in 1947. Located on the northwest shore of the dead sea between Jerusalem and the main beaches, Qumran is the site of an extraordinary discovery, the more important of the century according to archaeologist Igael Yadin, an exciting site that continues to deliver its secrets

Ein Gedi springs

The Ein Gedi nature reserve is a gigantic 1,345 hectare park including 7 marked trails. It allows families and hikers to be able to enjoy the raw beauty of the Judea Desert. The landscape is breathtaking with a unique frame mixing desert fauna and flora, unforgettable landscapes but also in its enclosure of biblical and archaeological sites.

Composed of two wadi, responding to the name of David and Arougot, this place whose source of the kids in reference to the quantities of Nubian ibex coming to seek refuge of the heat in the surrounding caves. In addition, they feed on acacias and the lush vegetation of this oasis which contrasts with the aridity of the region. Wild animals drink directly in the sources of Ein Gedi. Quantities of Damans (Hirax) will accompany you throughout the course.

Massada National Park

Herod Le Grand built a palace on an isolated rock, a fortress at the top of a high cliff overlooking the Dead Sea at the eastern end of the Judea desert. Breathtaking landscapes, the poignant stories of the defenders of Massada, the remains of a terrible battle against the 10th Legion.
